Meeting my son at Wetherspoons at Victoria we decided to find a real pub with real ale and good food - the Buckingham Arms ticked all the boxes. About 5 mins walk from Victoria it is opposite the Wellington army barracks a stones throw from the Palace. The Youngs beer on pump was perfect, clear, tasty and the right temperature. We both had food and my sausage and mash was delicious with 3 what tasted homemade, the sausages and the mash. I always base my food review on 'I could have made that better myself at half the price!' So in this case no I couldn't! Excellent and great value for central London.
