First for the good: Quiet bar, looks nice in the inside. Great location. Large food portion. The bad: Warm poor tasting beer, food had no flavor and most importantly "terrible service!" The bartender/waitress barely spoke English. Seemed like she was new, confused or both. Didn't know the prices of items. Asked her how much a pint of x beer was and she wasn't sure, said "about 4 pounds." It was 5. Ok.. no worries lets work with her. She served me a warm beer in a cold glass. Tasted terrible. Said nothing about it. Asked her about sodas/coke for my wife. Wanted to know if they offered free refills. She was confused at first then said "yes, they are free." Came back to the bar for a refill. She said it would be 4 pounds. "But you said refills were free" was my response. She seemed confused. "You said sodas/coke had free refills." To which she replied "oh yeah" and began pouring what I assume was soda water into a glass. Said to her "wait not that.. coke." This whole time behind her was a man on the phone. Not sure if he was just a worker, manager, owner. But with no introduction he stepped in and said "if you want a free refill go to a McDonalds." Wow.. really guy.. I wasn't going to argue with him and ruin my trip but the rude remark was not needed. No sense of customer service.

food is amazing camwith friends and the pulled pork was the best ive tasted outside of a bbq joint Staff where very friendly and although they didnt have any bitters to make a bitter shandy every thing else was above par will be coming back next time im in london
