We went here twice while staying at Hotel Pulitzer. The menu is in English as well as Italian and they have the widest selection of meals from any restaurant we visited on our trip. On our second visit we ordered a convento style calzone but the waiter misunderstood us and brought a convento style pizza. After explaining the issue they were apologetic and brought us the correct order. Everything we ate tasted amazing except the desserts which were only ok
Would recommend this restaurant for a truly "locals" experience. It was packed whilst we were there. Great food, carbonara, "brothers in sleeves", etc. Beware if you are walking from hotel Pulitzer past the rat infested illegal encampment and across an impassible highway and don't be put off by the tarpaulins across the restaurant roof. If you can get there in one piece you'll be treated to great service by waiters in monk costume and some top budget (friar) tucker.
