Due to its location Hostaria Trevi can easily becomes a tourist trap. Three signs convince us to take the risk: no member of the staff was standing at the front trying to lure us in, most of the tables were occupied and some of the costomers were locals. And the verdict: good food, prompt and friendly service and reasonable prices. If you are near Fontana DI Trevi it is an excellent choice.

We stumbled upon this place near the Trevi fountain our first night in Rome. It's a quant little restaurant that was a great price but unbelievable pasta! We ate at another place the 2nd night that didn't even compare to the quality of the Hostaria Trevi. That's how we knew it was for sure one of the better pasta places you will find in this area. Ask the waiter what he recommends and get it. You will not be disappointed.
