I love Mexican Food, but while this is not quite real Mexican, it is good food and I enjoy it when I am in a rush, but want that southwest or mexico flavor on what I am eating. Normally what I get is take out to go home and not have to cook that evening.
Taco Time is a Northwest staple and quite frankly, my top favorite Mexican fast food restaurant. I love that they get their ingredients from local sources when they can and how they are on the forefront of providing biodegradable compostable items in an effort to be 100% recyclable. They added compostable plastic utensils, straws, cups and food containers and even though it raised their costs, they didn't raise their prices. Taco Time food is delicious and well prepared from quality ingredients. This fast food chain is doing something right because they keep opening more and more restaurants every year. I've been told there is even one in Utah now. They have some amazing dishes too like the Tostada salad and their signature crisp burritos. Offered in Beef, Bean or Chicken and now Habanero Chicken, these are deep fried delicacies. Taco Time offers smart meal choices for those who are watching their calorie intake and they also have mini meals just in case you are not all that hungry but if you are, try the platters. What ever you choose and no matter what location you visit, it is always done right and always a fair price. I noticed that this particular location is pretty low in the ratings and the only thing that I can see from my many visits that could drop the rating here is that the parking situation can get a little frustrating and the service here is a bit sub par. There are definitely better locations for both parking and service but if you are in the Shoreline area and want some "Good, good, fast, fast, talking 'bout the very best"! (One of their old slogans), then stop in and give this Taco Time a try. No matter where you are, I will always recommend any Taco Time location so look for them because they are worth stopping for.
Longtime Taco Time fan, have eaten perhaps 30 Veggie Burritos at several Washington state Taco Times, NONE resembled this Veggie Burrito: blecchy black olives everywhere, the worst ever, none of any other veggie burrito have had huge pieces of black olives in them. From Taco Time's official site: "A soft whole-wheat tortilla wrapped around refried pinto beans, seasoned rice, cheddar cheese, sour cream, lettuce, salsa fresca and roasted sunflower seeds. Big flavor in a big burrito."
