San Francisco offers a veritable cornucopia of places to see and experience that include many dining options (Oriental, Asian, European, Latin American, Middle Eastern, etc.) throughout this city by the bay. On a recent return visit to the city my wife and I decided to seek out the lesser known dining venues focusing on Central American fare. Following the trusted advice of family members we decided to focus on the Mission District (Located in east-central San Francisco). The most expensive microwave food I ever had, I'm from Nicaragua took my husband and his friend to Las Tinajas thinking I was going to impress them, and what happen we all got sick, all our was re warm in the microwave, I talk to one of the server and ask her why was everything cold and she told me that they cook everything early in the morning for the day. And the lady behind the counter act she is doing you a favor by you eating there. I wish we had a more decent Nicaraguan restaurant in SFO
