Set back from the main road, and with the only signage we found being on the front door, this is a gem of a find. Your chosen meat is essentially cooked by you, at your table, on 400° stones with roasted vegetables delivered as sides with your stone. Obviously the food tasted great (as we cooked it!), but the meat cuts were delicious and melted in your mouth. All in $50 per head, for mains and dessert and a drink. You could spend less, and you could spend more with different cuts of meat, but it was worth what we paid.

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times and unfortunately this visit did not live up to expectations. We hope that the few things were a one off and they will return to the previous outstanding levels. This visit the staff member working did an excellent job considering that he was looking after the restaurant by himself. Despite his efforts to be friendly and helpful the service suffered. For example one of us received our food and then some guests arrived requiring seating so we had to wait for the rest of us to be served our food. The food was good but not as excellent as before. My steak was noticeably smaller than my daughter's despite ordering the same thing. Hubby and I ordered the chocolate fondue to share for dessert. This time it didn't come in a fondue pot with a candle to keep it melted, just a little bowl. Therefore the chocolate set before we could eat it all. We did enjoy our dinner and would go back.
