Fancy some Korean fast food? Don't bother with Bonchon Chicken in Singapore. Heard that it is much better overseas. Food here is overpriced with small portions and a lack of flavour and culinary skills. Save your money and eat at Four Fingers instead.
Visited for lunch had the chicken wings & they were very tasty. Loved the passion & green iced tea. Great service & food was served very quick. Lots of seating - very clean surroundings. Would definitely return.
The chicken wings are delicious, well fried and marinated, crispy and price is reasonable. Can be compared to four fingers. And thats it. Poor service attitude, the staffs look like they are underpaid or slaves. overpriced maggie noodles and gyoza. Ice water is self service, buts thats basically tap water with a little ice and its not cold. Unbelievable poor customer service which made me stunned like vegetables. I would not come back here again, I rather go four fingers or a coffee shop for a $3 meal. I paid $35 for 5 small pieces of gyoza, a bowl of instance noodles and 3 full chicken wings.
I don't usually try Korean food but decided to try this place because heard good reviews about their fried chicken. So two of us decided to order the chicken with some mains to go along. The japchae was pretty nice, pancake was slightly too thin for my liking as I have tried nicer and thicker ones elsewhere (I was told the original Korean version is supposed to be thin though). The highlight definitely has to be the chicken. We ordered a half half and the spicy chicken turned out to be very hot. We thought of just leaving it but decided to finish it with lots of water. The soy one was very good but the only small complain we had was we wished there would be more sauce on the chicken. The bill turned out to be very reasonable for 2 people for about $52. Nice place to dine and stay away from spicy if you think you don't have a high threshold. Would visit this restaurant again.
