Went for dinner. I think the restaurant was severely understaff. The place was packed with customers and there were probably only 4 person taking orders and serving the customers. Waited a while to get the attention of one of the servers to place our order. Drinks were also served wrongly. I asked for a hot drink and it came cold so they changed it. My friend's salmon spaghetti looks more like yellow noodle soup with salmon instead. It looked nothing near the picture.
I have been visiting this restaurant very often. This Hong Kong cantonese restaurant continue to impress me with the stocking milk tea, fried rice Yangzhou style, French toast and so on. This is the best Wong Kok if to compare with several I had in Malaysia- JB and KL. Will continue to patronize this outlet when I hang out at bugis junction. Highly recommended!
If you like HK Cafes then you will find that the menu available at this cafe is slightly different from the other large chain of HK Cafes. The HK Milk tea is pretty decent and there are quite a few options for food below $5 if you are just looking for a snack. You mark out what you want on a menu chit and then pass it to the staff who will then prepare the food for you. Payment is at the counter. Minimal fuss for service, but so far I have not gotten much problem from them for this. Probably a good place to try if you are looking for a seat and everywhere else looks full.
