The place is fitted out well, very western. Like the tvs in the booths. Like the bar area and the outdoor bar area. I dont like paying over $30 for a steak that is cooked so much its like a handbag, unfortunately my husband was being "too polite" to send it back, so unsure if it would have been rectified. Have to give them the benefit of the doubt. I wont rush back there to eat it in the restaurant, but the bar area and the bar snacks are fine

This is a very nice theme pub to bring city friends in for a fun night out. Lots of things to see from the stuffed bear, moose & deer heads... leather seats, cowboy theme. Pub grub is a bit limited as expected. Serves nice Fish & Chips and Burgers.

We have eaten here quite a few times since it opened and were initially impressed with the food however it has steadily declined in quality and tonight was the icing on the greasy old cake! The crab was probably the worst plate of food that I have ever been served at a restaurant and my partner's calamari was inedible. The people we were dining with were also highly disappointed. What a shame, as we used to enjoy dining at Saloon Saloon. I'm sure they can do better but I won't be in a hurry to go back

This place is a gem - I wish we had it in Rotorua - I'd be there all the time. We were there for the country music festival and loved the country feel. With the entire venue being decked out with the country cowboy theme, I was totally blown away by the attention to detail and unique styling of the place. Right down to the bull riding pit in the centre of the outdoor area, it was 'country'. While we were there, hot chips (more like roast potatoes) were bought out and put on the tables 'on the house'. They were delicious! This was hospitality at its best.
