We had bruschetta and pizza - both very good. Pizza is thin crust and the cook is Italian, so we presumed he would know how to make a good pizza! There is another restaurant beside (closer to the water) the Al Piccolo, but their prices are more expensive and I don't think the meal would have been any better. We had a friendly 'hello' many times that we walked past this restaurant and we had said that we would come to visit them some time. The waitresses are very friendly and this added to our evening. We would return here again.
Very interesting presentation on triangular plates, but other than that, fantastic. 2 mains, drinks for 2 and a shared dessert (large enough for four people!) came to 900bht. The chocolate pizza dessert in truly amazing but honestly, you could share it between 4 people it's so huge. The ladies serving were really friendly and very polite letting me practise my very bad Thai. I have now learned how to ask for ice at least!
Pizza was not crispy or brown on the back. Pasta was so salty you could not eat it. Oddly the Italian chef provided a lecture about how salty Italian food is made and his is fine - oh really !! When we entered I noticed the prices ran about 30-35% above the the other local Italian restaurants. So here you get overly high pries and slaty bad food. Go elsewhere - oh and after getting one the pizza made be drink three bottles of water !!
