Found this eatery by chance, as it is near where I stay. And the first visit was really good, resulting in a few more subsequent visits. It does have the ability to serve nice food, but I did notice inconsistency in the standard. Certain dishes they do really well - steamed fish (of any species), spiced salt meat, roast pork belly. Steamed fish is really fresh and really tasty - even better than some high-end restaurants. But then some other dishes we tried were rather disappointing, such like roast goose. Servers are inconsistent too. Some are really nice, some are - well - not. But they do make an attempt to serve foreigners in English and Mandarin, which is a plus for non-Cantonese speaking customers. Milk tea is no good. But soups are usually nice.
Just off the main road in North Point, Hong Kong Island : next to the Hong Kong betting outlet. Totally amazing Chinese food. Sit down or take away-Order from the menu or ask for whatever you desire. Have been to this restaurant twice during our vacation. Love it! Very popular and staff and chefs are awesome, great for a very tasty take home dinner.
