We used to love this restaurant but were very disappointed with this visit. The Restaurant had lost our booking, so could only offer us a table for 1 hr 10 mins- we had to take it as we were a large group, but this meant our meal was not relaxing. Service was slow, no wine glasses were brought to us but the corkage (bit of a rip off) still charged. Everyone received meals at different times. Food is still good, but quite expensive.

This restaurant served Thai cuisine and was our last dinner in New Zealand this time. The restaurant was really eyes catching due to its bright colors. It served good, tasty, big portion and plenty of Thai dishes; thus really to satisfaction of everyone in our group. The dishes served were even too many and to much so that there were still some remaining on some tables of our group. This restaurant seemed to be suitable and were used to serve big touristic groups as although it was crowded, the speed of the service was relatively high. The Tom Yam soup served was really good and tasty, however, please be careful for the chilly sauce available as it was very hot/spicy. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful, while the toilets were also relatively kept clean and tidy considering the numbers of the guests dining there. It was a very good last dinner in New Zealand for us.

There were about 30 in our group and they handled it fantastically! There was so much to be impressed about. They wrote down each person's name with our order so there was no confusion when the food came out or when we each paid our bill. The food was really good, the wine list very reasonable and the option of BYO makes for a cheap night! The big lazy susan's helped us be able to share and try each other's dishes and the waiter who had poured me a glass of wine when I first arrived, remembered my name when I came to pay at the end. Great service, great food and not easy for a restaurant to cater so well to so many large groups at one time! I would highly recommend for relaxed birthdays and get-together's!
