This is a childhood love and I will go back to this place at least twice on every trip that I would make to Lucknow. Their matar-tikki and dahi bhallas are world beaters...All dishes cost INR 35 per place, and it doesn't get better than this.

This is one of the best chat places in town. A totally non-assuming place; the outlet doesn't even have a signboard and one needs to know where to look, this place serves the best Dahi Batashe in the city. The Aaloo Tikki is also above average but the Pani puri is just so so. A must visit place for the Dahi Batashe alone!!!!

Its very easy to miss Jain chat shop for it is one of those little tucked away shops.......but their snacks are out of the world. Try the Gol-gappa or Aloo Tikki (ask him to make it extra crunchy!). Their dahi wadas are good too. Be ready to jostle in the crowd and get into the queue for the snacks..........Its worth the time. Once you take a bite, you seem to be transported to another world altogether!.
