A real taste of Lebanese food. Fresh salads, well marinated meats, good bread and great service. Try the lemon and mint drink. It is what it says, made from fresh ingredients, really tasty. Reasonably priced and really tasty. English is spoken and the waiters are happy to explain the dishes to you. Top Tip # 1. Many restaurants include a service charge. Check the bill before you add the tip. An additional tip of 10 Dirham is about right but only if you want to. Where no service charge is included between 5 - 10% is the norm.
The meats in the mixed grills were well marinated and cooked to the right texture, as a result they were very succulent. The arayees was also excellent. However the mezze was a disappointment. We ordered Fattoush and Hommus and both didn't meet the standard. But the Kibbe was good. The other disappointment is that they don't have any dessert on the menu. They have a nice patio where you can sit and have your meals and specially in the winter months of Dubai. Overall an enjoyable experience. Also the service staff were very courteous, polite and the services offered were fast.
This restaurant shows that fast food doesn't have to be frozen or boil in the bag. It lives up to its logo " eat well, eat local". All the food was freshly cooked with perhaps a minimum of earlier preparation. My Kofters were served on a delicate fresh wrap and my wife's chicken in a similar wrapping. A herb salad on my wrap with a fresh mixed salad, a few pickles and freshly cooked tomato and onion completed a plate that both looked and tasted superb.
