One of the old decent houses in heart ofShiraz, beautifully renewed. Just stay there for an hour to see the place and enjoy the atmosphere. Food is not good. I dont recommend it. Area is busy and mostly full of teraffic.in high season you can not find place to park the car.so tale taxi or bus to reach there.
The main reason to come here is for the house, and the garden/pond in front of it, in which the restaurant is located. It is an old, grand, stylish, house with a colonial feel. We went for dinner and the atmosphere was particularly pleasant. Actually it is also probably a good option to come for a drink or small bite and seat outside in the garden, by the pond. The restaurant itself is inside on the second floor. What with the food, it is the usual stuff, not bad, but nothing outstanding either. Service was ok.
Biggest mistake of a two week trip through Iran. A restaurant with mostly tourist patrons and the waitress doesn't speak a word of English. The receptionist is needed to establish at least a basic level of communication. Literally half the dishes on the menu were not available. (Not one vegetarian main dish.) What was available was uncreative, standard fare. We were the first guests of the evening, but it took over one hour for our food to arrive. And then it was overcooked, cold, dry, tasteless. (My gues is it was not prepared on the premises.) We had to ask for the ordered bread three more times, and were done with our meal two thirds when it finally arrived. Pricey even if it would have been up to standard. A clear miss.
