I went there for a quick business lunch with colleagues, and definitely plan to visit again. Great food, fast service (though it wasnin off season) and friendly staff. Enjoyed the wine recommended by the manager. Warmly recommended.
I went here with my boyfriend to, we were in a hurry and it was near our apartment so we decided to go there. Restaurant was empty and looked like it doesn't work but it did. Outside tabels weren't prepaired, in the insde was dark, very unattractive. We decided to sit in the inside, interior look very good and the weitress put the lights on for us. When we asked for a menu she brought one but said that they don't have all the things so she read few things they had without showing us the prices. Food was good, we took beefstake with rice. In my rice I've found a bug and when I complained to the weitress she looked at me like I've put it in there nad didn't even apologize. When the receipt came the prices were much higher then those on their webpage and she calculated sidedish gegardless that the price for steak was with sidedish. She apologized for that and said that she has been very busy and made a mistake, there was NOONE ELSE in the restaurant. When we asked why the prices are higher than the ones from the internet she didn't know but said we can ask manager when he comes. 10 min later the manager comes, we ask him about it and he was rude, answered a call on his phone while talking to us and said that he isn't the manager and we should wait for him. He was the menager!! Worst dinner ever!! Never again!!!
This was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Sibenik, so we went to verify that. Well, it's not. Apparently, after its founder died, his son took over the place and everything got worse. Fish soup was OK. For cold appetizer, our waiter suggests octopus and swordfish carpaccio as a great way to arouse our appetite. Both carpaccios were excellent, but, it appeared the suggestion was based on what is available in the kitched - apparently, those were the only appetizers available. Great taste, but, we wanted to try octopus terine and seafood mousse. For the main dish, the story was the same, so we took the Uzorita plate with mixed fish (for two people). It was explained to us that there is only one fish on the plate, but it is so big (it was an average sized mackerel) opposed to two much smaller fishes normally served. Additionally, waiter said it will be much cheaper that way (we weren't really interested in the price, but, the price was simply calculated as the price of a plate times two). Scampi were excellent, but there were only two. Scallops with chese were pointless as cheese overpowered the taste of scallops. Shells were ok. Squid were overcooked and were guttered. Rice was excellent and probably the best part of the plate, but I don't understand its meaning on a fish plate. Child seat was full of mold. Olive oil was excellent. Waiter was polite, but useless. Avoid.
