If you are looking for good vegetarian food this is the place to go. Good food and very good service but the ladies on the outside sweets counter can afford to smile more and be a little more friendlier. Prices are very reasonnable.

Located in the bustling Pettah, this place is a hidden gem in Colombo. Beats the 'fancier' restaurants in the Colombo hotels that claim to serve authentic South Indian any day! Ambience feels like you are in Chennai. Super fast service. Fantastic value for money, not a luxurious place but the food is unbeatable. Try the mini idlis tossed with chilli powder. A must have.

Good vegetarian Indian food, fast service,clean and affordable. their "thali" is really good. Best "waddai" in town. Very close to the city and major hotels around colombo fort. Best to travel by taxi. Most guys might not know the place by name. But tell them it's on sea street after you pass all the gold shops close to the Hindu temples
