This is a proper local's pub we went on our last visit to Budapest and as we were visiting the near by Margaret Bridge and island we thought we would go in again as it offer's some great local beer at unbeatable prices. We walked in and ordered bottle's of Arany Aszok beer and this beer was served in perfect condition being iced cold and sparkling , we just chilled out and soaked up the great atmosphere of this wonderful local's pub. The interior is really cool with an all brick bar and nice furnishing's and decor and a cosy feel to the bar. We were about the only tourist's in here and we were made to feel more than welcomed by the staff but with this pub being so close to some major site's such as Margaret Bridge and the island i am sure there used to visitor's from the U K. Our beer's were lovely and we had a very pleasant stay in here before we moved on . Very easy to locate on Zsent Istvan Kert . Not sure on the opening hour's but we have been here before midday and late at night. A great local's pub and well worth checking out.
