I have lived in Christchurch for 12 months now and have been searching for a good thai restaurant. I was starting to give up hope but a friend recommended this place and I have to say, its definitely the best I have had in Christchurch and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered vegetarian Pad Thai as a take away only last night and after 12 months of searching Christchurch for a decent pad thai, it blew me away how tasty and authentic it was. The restaurant was clean and tidy when I picked it up. Will definitely be going back again!! Next time will be dining in :)

One of the best traditional thai food restaurants Ive eaten at in Australia and New Zealand. Higly recommend the massaman, sweet and sour seafood, panang and pad thai. Ive now introduced my mum who lives here to try thai for the first time ever and she loves it.

The food is good BUT the tables for two are on the fringes We had an air conditioning unit blowing cold air on us and on our food, The plates are not warmed and we had cold food and cold rice. We asked for the air conditioning to be turned down and the rice to be replaced which was done. There are more user friendly Thai restaurants than this

Not as cheap as other Thai Restaurants but when you want good food money comes second... As long as you eat in. It gets expensive for two take-away. If you are wanting to eat Thai anywhere in Christchurch go here! Authentic dishes are full of flavour. The atmosphere is enclosed and genuine. Your food is served on plates inscribed with Sema's name for added effort. If you love Thai food and you've been all over Christchurch to get it you'll agree that Sema does it best!
