I agree with everyone else that this Gloria jeans is fine to eat or drink coffee at if you were a regular customer , but I used to work there and if the owners are the same they were horrible . They give the staff no training what so ever ! I had never made coffee from a proper machine before and they basically told me I had to teach myself . They would put me on busy periods with just one of them and then be angry or say rude remarks when I would get something a little bit wrong but I never got showed how to do anything properly . Only some of the staff members showed me how to do stuff and then even some of them were rude. There were a few times when staff dropped good and the managers told them to put it back on display to save money . They also would fire staff via text if they didn't reply to them or if they couldn't work a shift or even if they didn't know how to do something , despite never being shown . They sent me a text at 9pm at night once asking if I could work at 6am the next day . I didn't reply this is not how you communicate to staff and then a few days later they sent me an email trying to fire me . So I went in with a meeting with then and the manager was basically like you need to train yourself better etc . Even though I picked up mostly everything fast and the recipes they had on the board above the blenders where apparently wrong so I quickly memorised them. This place has high turn over and not the best food safety. I called Gloria jeans head office about it and the girl was like there is nothing we can do because it's a franchise .
Called in for a coffee, ended up getting Long Black small and carrot cake also babycino for my grandaughter. The selection of what was available for the free babycino was quite amazing. Coffee was very hot and not burnt. Carrot cake lovely and moist. Would go again even though you have to have takeaway cups even though you are dining in, seems a waste.
