Iinly ever bother rating awesome and terrible . Regrettably this is part of the latter group. I was hoping for some good honest grub and love a good tempura udon. At 12 bucks it seemed good value and the place was quite busy so what the hell. .. I asked if the vegetables were individually cooked tempura or the big lump of congealed horror that many places do. I was assured that they were individually cooked pieces of vegetable and pawn. What I got was a lump of hopelessly overcooked deep fried rubbish and a huge bowl of miso soup with some udon noodles. Pics to follow. If you in any way enjoy good Japanese fair, save your time and go somewhere else. I know 12 bucks is c cheaper than some but some pride on the restaurant owners pay would stop them fromserving this up. Never again.

momoco was very famous in elsternwick area yrs ago. business was sold to a china lady 18mths ago. the quality & service has gone downhill. sushi sashimi not fresh, hot food very oilly. waitress ignor customers. You never get exactly what you have ordered !!!

Their Sushi Rolls are always fresh and value for money. The mail meals are also fantastic - I guess thats why its always so busy! Again I think their Sushi Rolls are the best in Melbourne - I dont eat Sushi anywhere else as Im always disapointed.
