Since I was staying at the Mercure 1st hotel, I took all my breakfasts there. The place looks gorgeous. The buffet contains everything you'd like to find, from fruits to cereals including all sorts of cold cuts and raw fish. In addition eggs can be ordered. Last but not least, the double espressos were great! P.S.: I was tempted to also have dinner there once but was told it was closed in January after the breakfast service (so no lunch nor dinner services).
Tried this nice looking bistro bar when out with work colleagues during a congress. The menu looked limited on first pass but with a gluten-free vegetarian amongst our group, we we're pleased to find some suitable options so decided to stay. The food was fresh and well presented and had obviously been put together with care. The real treat though was the staff, who from Michelle the waitress, Yvonne the chef and the Manager Bennett, were outstanding in their service and attention. Yvonne clearly puts a lot of love in her food and this shone through with everything we had. The evening came to a delightful end with a schnapps tasting sesion, rounding off a great evening. Thanks Guys! We wish you well for the opening next week.
