I knew Alpha through some friends of mine. They came a day before for a networking-event some sorts and took some photos. It looks sooo nice so I decided to come check it out the next day. Sadly, even though it is branded as a "pool bar", you can not go swimming because you don't live at the manor. The bar staff offer no solution for this so If you wanna swim you have to buy a ticket from the gym that costs $15. Having said that, you might can go for a cheeky swim if you are westerner, blonde and tall. The drinks are alright, but not many things on the menu are available. If i am ever coming back , I would probably bring my own drinks to go tan. Because paying $6 for a cocktail, D1 has a lots more to offer.

Alpha had a really relaxing atmosphere, situated right next a pool. Alpha had a good menu which which included papaya salads, chicken sandwiches, fresh spring rolls to name just a few things. By chance the day I was there they can a BBQ with Aussie sausages and burgers. The smoothies were great! They were made with fresh fruit right in front of you. Overall Alpha had friendly staff, great tasting food and drink and a reasonable price. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for some time out of the busy Ho Chi Minh Streets.
