We were staying at the Laluna hotel about 300 mtrs away, had passed this place several times during our stay so decided to give it a try. Actually quite small but good tables and food very tasty and cheap. Looks to have been set up to attract tourists does not have that real local Thai look to it but I am always confident of having a good tasty meal in 99% of all Thai eateries without worrying about tummy problems and this place is no exception. Simple but with meals at BHT50 ++ it is a no brainer. Like most restaurants in Chiang Rai does not stay open very late.

For 80 bath you get the most amazing crispy fried pork with garlic and rice. Perfect size, not the biggest but def filled me up and nice to be able to finish a meal instead of leaving half left because there is to much. The owners are really friendly and the beer was cold and cheap. Would go again but leaving tomorrow so next time I come back to chiang rai
