the location is a bit out of crowded lakeside pokhara. It is on the way to Pame, the name of the place is Happy Village. Outdoor sitting is one of the best aspect of this restaurant. nepali style sitting on the floor on clean mats with also fan for hot days. Rather than fancy touristic restaurants and cafes, this one is much more typical Nepali Taste and style Restaurant, so if you don't like spicy local food then it might not be the right place for you. I highly recommend all spicy and local food lovers to come here, at least once during your stay in Pokhara. You can simply use a local bus or rent some bike or cycle to go there, it's not that far - may be around 15 minutes ride from center of lake side. I highly recommend this place to every one.

Rather than fancy touristic restaurant and cafe this one is more typical Nepali Taste Restaurant, so if you don't like spicy local food then it might not be place for you. I recommend all spicy and local food lover to go here at least once during your stay in Pokhara. It is true, this restaurant offers a good view upon the lake and the surrounding hills. We had our dinner and lunch in this restaurant on several days and tried a diversity of the special meals offered in the menu card. However, the meals were all dry, hard, tasteless, and too expensive for what you get. The coffee was too weak. The service was often friendly but unprofessional. This place may be a prominent meeting point for the "better" locals but we cannot recommend this restaurant to daytime or evening tourists. What is really good, cheap, and enough is the Nepalese breakfast offered on a separate menu card to the known visitors.
