We tried different pizzas and our overall opinion is that the pizza is not great but not too bad either. The dough is really thin and light. Some of the topping ingredients are good, others less (tuna, for instance). A positive point is the service, fast and kind.
We had a first visit after the renovation. The atmosphere got much lighter and the service much better. A smile makes a big difference. And most important also the food got an upgrade. The dough of my pizza marinara was excellent and on request some anchois were added. The free limoncello was a nice surprise. The price is very ok. A real surplus for this part of Kessel-Lo
After a renovation this pizzeria reopened a few months ago under a new name: Mezzaluna pizza e pasta. Unfortunately, Tripadvisor does not seem to realize that yet. Since then my wife and I have been there two times. Both times we had pizza and were very satisfied with our visit. The pizza's were amazingly good. Fresh tasty ingredients on a thin crusty bottom-layer. The people serving are very friendly, and so are the prices. The interior is freshly decorated, although still a bit simple. But quite OK for a pizzaria without false pretentions. We will certainly go back here. One small drawback should be noted: you can only pay cash.
