We stopped for a quick lunch on the way to Oxford. The town was busy, but we managed to find a seat. The waitress was really helpful and the sandwiches were delicious. Mine had nachos with it and my husband had a fresh crisp salad. The tea was hot and tasty, and they did a good flat white. We'd recommend this place and the attached deli tempted us to buy some bits and pieces on the way out.
Called in here on Friday as we fancied a nice cup of coffee,so ordered two cappuccinos what turned up was two cups of scolding hot liquid that didn't taste of anything, when I mentioned this to the waitress/table clearer she said that no one had complained about the coffee before, she then offered to replace them with americanos which was as equally tasteless, we left them and walked away. Now £5 doesn't sound much these days but I am so annoyed that I gave it to this establishment when I should have kept it in my wallet and waited until I got home ,and made myself a decent cuppa. Won't be returning anytime soon.
we was passing on our way to Hook norton and found this cafe, we found a seat and was made welcome by the only person waiting on. We ordered tea for both of us along with sandwiches, we both found the tea very weak (slightly coloured water with milk). Sandwiches were very nice and did like that they had bottles of good quality salad dressing on the side you could have. I decided to have a cake where i was given a small slice of pecan pie it was nice but should be given a bigger slice for the price
