Ate here in the spring with family. The staff were all helpful and polite, and it's a family business. The food was really delicious with local welsh ingredients. The atmosphere was a little quiet, but probably as we were eating quite early. Lovely views of the gardens. Would definitely recommend as a place for a special meal.
Excellent food and we have been here quite a few times. However it has become rather expensive £48 for a 3 course dinner so with pre- dinner drinks and wine plus a tip there will not be much change from £150.
Fairy Hill is a wonderful & classy establishment. It is clean, comfortable, friendly, professional, offers great quality and service. Lovely artwork adorns the walls, traditional styling which exudes taste and comfort but not pretentiousness is what your surrounding will be like. The restaurant, bar, lounge were all very relaxing. We appreciated being able to have a G&T in the lounge, reading up- to- date magazines before being taken through for our meal. Timed brilliantly, not rushed in any way. The meal was fabulous. The wine a great choice. The attention to detail was appreciated very much. Great service, sparkling glasses and cutlery crisp white linen. Fresh flowers, candles -all of it well thought out and delivered with friendly care and an evident passion for their business. NO wonder they were fully booked and every table taken! A good product will always sell out! Thank you for helping redeem what could have been a completely disastrous visit to the area. We will come back and look forward to staying with you, enjoying your lovely property, terrace, gardens, bar, food and hospitality. We won't leave it too long and we hope your future plans come to fruition soon.
Well what can I say my husband and I have been dining at fairyhill for a number of years now . It is my favourite place for lunch or dinner. The proprietors Paul and Andrew have definitely found the right balance for everything. It is very unpretentious but is very very beautiful there are not many places you can have lunch and stay in the gardens for as long as you like . (Dogs welcome as well) you would have to go far to beat the whole package they all offer at this magnificent restaurant with rooms . I look at some reviews for fairyhill and some comment its overpriced for what it is . You sometimes pay more for an ordinary pub meal you could make at home than here . And by the way wine tasting the first saturday in every month is well worth a visit no pressure and a lovely atmosphere . I love the place, the owners and the staff well done you know we will be back again and again
