I recently discovered Restaurant Renggergut in my neighbourhood as a spot for lunch - I don't think better value exists in Zurich. The style is buffet, but the atmosphere is refined enough for a casual work lunch. Lunch comes in three courses - the first course is always comprised of creative small plates, and options for soup, salad and bread - all very nicely done. The main course has both meat and (very tasty vegetarian options). But the desserts are truly amazing - lots of little ones to choose from. Expect friendly, reliable service from servers from the Stiftung Arbeitskette. And here's the kicker - all that for CHF 15!!
