My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant. The lady that took our order was lovely and friendly. Although she did not speak much or any English, the menu had photos on it, and some English words, so we were able to communicate which dishes we wanted. Both of our meals were good and came with many side-dishes. I don't know what most of those were, but they were all very good, and we certainly had more than enough food.
This was definitely the best place we have been to during our trip until now. Very tasty food, very clean and very friendly service. They also speak English which makes ordering much more easy :-) Kimchi Udon noodles are incredibly spicy but also highly addictive - but also the other food was great. And the price is very fair as well. So if you are looking for an alternative to Korean food go there !!!
We walked by the Kisoya on our way to the hotel. We were not very hungry but since it was already dinner time decided to give it a try. The menu is made of Japanese dishes, and some Korean-inspired (mainly with kimchi) dishes. We ordered takoyaki, udon and cold soba set, including sushi. The food was tasty but not amazing. The udon was perfect but the broth could be more flavorsome. The cold soba was ok, but anyway... It's cold soba! Staff was friendly and attentive.
