If you are looking for a spot little hidden from the usual tourist routes, this is the place to go. Be aware of Spanish siesta - afternoon's are closed, the dinner is served after 21:30. A reservation at the courtyard is recommended. The food comes in portions so you can share it with your partner. The presentation is spectacular, the taste is divine. Just, we left and we were hungry. Having starter and main dish eaten.. I would recommend to all of you who are looking for something different. This experience is worth it.
We have gone to Secreter quite a few times, whenever we went it was another nice lunch, once a great dinner. The portions are small, but on a workday there is a 3 course menu which is sufficient to fill you. The bread and the cake/coffee is included. Good value for money. The presentation of the dishes are nice and the waiters friendly. I would go every week...
There is a clue in the name of this fantastic eatery. The food is brilliant, a small menu of the day, but hey it's Eur 9 for two courses. This place is clearly a lunchtime gem for the locals. Probably why it doesn't have that many Tripadvisor revies. If you like great Spanish food with no frills and a cosy courtyard location, give it a try. Please note on a value scale this is at least 6 out of 5 on Tripadvisor scale... But don't tell anyone!
We returned to this little gem and was very pleased that the menu de dia was just as delicious as a year ago. This time we got there right on 2pm and we able to sit in the lovely terrace. We started with the cappuccino mushroom soup, have never had a soup with a froth on top, it was delicious followed by Carne Milanese Meatballs then berri mouse with white chocolate shaving, all were perfect. The owners were the same friendly people as last year , will definetly return next time in Valencia.
