Each time that I visit, I end up ordering the very soup that I thought that I would least like. This is the ONLY place that I have ended up thoroughly enjoying soups such as tomato, and most recently, the sweet potato with coconut and the red pepper soups. It is absolutely delicious and freshly made without preservatives or additives. They will give you samples of all of the soups and stews they make in cute shooter glasses so you can decide which one you enjoy the most.

Maybe just a bad day and poor choices but did not enjoy lunch here except for the cake. Others mentioned the soup shooters - I tried one, a spicy bean soup. The taste was good but the beans were slightly undercooked. Yech! That gritty, starchiness. Opted for a sammie - BLT with sundried tomato mayo. The sammie was good but the mayo tasted weird. I love tomatoes and I love mayo so ?? My friend ordered a ham and cheese. She said the ham was good but spent a couple of minutes scraping off the gobs of French's mustard. The orange cake was delicious and huge. So there's that. The proprietress was a bit edgy and the music was too loud. Would not go back.
