DO NOT GO HERE. AT LEAST NOT UNTIL IT GOES OUT OF BUSINESS AND SOMEONE ELSE TAKES IT OVER. That said, I apologize for the long review. I'm normally quite succinct, but this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant/grill/bar so I have a lot to say. I moved to North York in January, and decided to try this place on a whim as I was looking for a sports bar. It was upscale, and I was thrilled. The food was excellent, as were the drink specials. Looking around, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals and having a great time. This became the regular for me and was my partner and my favourite place. We went virtually every Tuesday for cheap wings and beer before heading over to the cinema. I also would take my family and guests in here. Then the place got new ownership. My first experience under this new ownership was negative. The owner patrolled the bar and brought a very negative and unfriendly presence to the space. I had been in with my parents, and when they loved I moved up to the bar. I had already had two beers, and asked that it be rolled into the bucket special as we intended to stay. The bartender apologetically informed us she wasn't able to do it, as ownership had forbidden this conversion. As we'd already been there for lunch and a previous bucket, we were extremely offput and left. I didn't realize how bad it was however, until I went in during hockey playoffs. The sports bar had all of the tvs tuned to PBS--no joke. And the overhead audio was turned off in place of dance/pop music blaring overhead (I definitely recall pitbull, christina aguilera, and others). We expected that maybe they were just waiting for the game to start so we waited until game-time. However, after the puck had already dropped, still no tv and no sound. We had to request that hockey be put on which, by the time the server figured out how to do it, had cost me 7-8 minutes of the first period. It was put onto only one TV for us with no audio, while PBS remained
