Was going several times a week, before I moved out of town. As a former long time resident of BWV I can say that this is probably the best pub in the area. Decent food and my favorite draft (Mill St). Excellent brunch on weekends. Those bizarre reviews below are nothing like close to the truth. That's the internet I guess.

Been at this pub a couple of times. I would not recommend it. The so called owner there is drunk most of the times, always being rude to customers, and complaining that he deserves at least 30% tip for his disgusting service and hospitality, Unless the management changes the food and the environment is not good nor friendly. You can visit Swan or Yellow Griffin down the street if you are looking for a nice place to have a drink or eat.

First time here. Definitely my type of neighborhood pub! Friendly and fast...yes fast staff although it was packed. A larger selection of beers on tap mentioned in a previous comment would be a plus.
