We were advised by Host from our B & B to try A & W for hamburgers after a disastrous experience at "Wendy's" in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. If you enjoy home made Hamburgers then you will enjoy theirs! Everything made fresh and a juicy meat patty not thin and cardboard like! Our Teenaged Grandson who is really a fussy eater used to visit A & W regularly.

Across from our hotel at the Metropolitan, went here for something to eat - really wide range of choices and great food with helpful staff if you wanted to 'tailor make' your order. Good prices 7.99 dollars for a hearty breakfast!

This is a fairly new restaurant and is located within the Pacific Central Station (train & bus terminal). When I was there I noticed that the Mama burger combo (burger, small fries and large root bear) was on special for CAD5.00.
