Have been here four times now and every time has been better than the last. Beer selection is great, not your standard GI lager or Molson Canadian. Portions are not large but tasty. A better neighborhood alternative than Luke's, Caffe Barney or Ousi Bistro.
This little bistro is tucked away on a leafy side street off South Granville. The menu contains only a few items but each are well crafted and tasty. There's an extensive list of beers and wine by the glass but they also have an espresso machine for foamy lattes and cappuccinos. We stopped for lunch on a shopping trip and enjoyed the delicious Caesar salad made with kale and crispy chicken and the mushroom and Gruyere tart which is actually done on a flaky pastry and comes with your choice of salad or chips. They have different menus for brunch and dinner.
My friend and I got together to celebrate our birthdays and we picked this restaurant as part of our shopping day on Granville street. We went for an early dinner, it was empty when we arrived and fully packed when we left. The service was very attentive. They have some interesting options written on a blackboard, we tried couple of wine by the glass that were good. The plate with cheese and meat, that you can choose different combinations written on the blackboard was good too. Nice little place, to spend couple of hours with good friends
