I and my friends very appreciated this restaurant @ potsdam. for good experince in Thai foods. This restaurant is not far from the corner of Benkertstr.21. You can observe LemonGras sign and Thai Flag in front of.
If you want to take to the small streets and enjoy good authentic Thai food in a historic setting (Dutch quarter) - then Lemon Gras is your choice. Although in a touristy spot - prices are very reasonable and service is super friendly. In the summer it is just stunning to sit outside and enjoy the warm breeze while watching people stroll by. The interior could use a little face lift although it is charming and clean. They have great lunch specials and keep in mind that they are closed on Mondays and only accept cash (which together with the interior are main reasons we voted 4 instead of 5).
The lemon gras is a good choice for a Thai restaurant at Potsdam. The location is very nice - directly inside a narrow side road in the middle of the Dutch district. The service was always very friendly and quick. The food is typical Thai style and very tasty - I like the glas noodle salat 'Yam WunSen'. The decoration on the plate is beautiful and you can discuss the amount of spices :-). Yes, it is aligned to the European taste but they are happy to increase the spices. During warm summer nights you can sit on the street and watch people strolling by. Monday is closed!
