We had been looking forward to returning here to eat the steak fiorentina which we had previously thought as one of the best steaks we had ever eaten. This time we were persuaded to have it off the bone. What arrived was very little meat and a bone which I am not sure had even held the meat. Taste was average and service surly. We will not return as I know there are better places to visit.
Milan has many great trattorias some I have visited include Latteria,DaIllia, etc etc but I must say day in and day out this place shines.Today I stopped in for Pranzo and special was Vitello Stinco as well as Fieno pasta......WOW WOW WOW....wait staff is great if you act like a reasonable human being if not stay home especially tourists.table next to us were dopey UK folks who don't difference from meat pies to pasta..the daily menu sheet should be your guide as the owners go out of their way to stay seasonal.by the way try the local vino and be surprised how good it can be without outrageous prices some pay for Italian wines.
This little restaurant is located in a very small street in the area Brera of Milan. It's very cosy and it worth a visit when you are in the area. Typical Italian food with good and fresh ingredients. The pasta vongole is superb! The waiter was very nice but later in the evening the place got full and he was a bit stressed and forgot our bill. But it's a lovely place to eat.
