First of all make a phone call for your reservation. You'll discover that you are forced to follow their timing rule. Then you go to the restaurant at the time they forced you to book, but you won't get your table because they made a bad planning and forced you to wait half an hour more. Rude and terrible service. If you wish to eat spanish food, you'd better go somewhere else.
The restaurant is located on the edge of the old town. It serves both tapas and normal dishes. The service is very friendly. I went there to have paella and was suggested to have a tapa because the paella would take half an hour to prepare. I had the croquetas de gamberones (shrimp croquettes, € 6). This is a portion of 3 decent-sized Spanish style croquettes: mostly a potato filling but with a good shrimp taste. They were fine but not very warm. In fact the fresh, crisp bread (cover charge € 1.50) was almost as warm. I had the paella de pescado y mariscos (fish and sea fruits paella, € 20). The paella was a good portion and came with a good serving of sea fruits. The taste was fine. The paella was slightly overcooked, rendering some of the grains of rice on the brink of becoming rice crispies and the chunks of fish rather dry. This was quite an acceptable paella. However, I do not think that the average Spanish ‘ama de casa’ will have to worry that her next of kin will never again try her paella after having eaten here: hence my "average" rating. The 33 cl. can of Coke Zero cost € 4, which I think is rather expensive.
Nice location, nice staff, very good paella! Good price for Milan downtown (paella de mariscos (full of them) € 19,00 € . Also tapas very good. The only negative point is that You don't hear Poeole at your table and hear other tables ones instead!
