The service at The Jefferson is impeccable. Quill, the hotel's bar, has some of the most knowledgeable — and friendly — bartenders in Washington. Quill staffers are excellent at covering all you might need for an evening out (including a terrific menu) in an elegant setting with classic cocktails and plenty of smart new ideas for drinks you never knew you might enjoy.

My wife and I had an evening where we wanted some fine wine and a few tapas in a classy setting. We were staying at the Jefferson and discovered the The Quill. It is a real gem that exudes a cosmopolitan ambience and comfort at their small tables or the bar. The bartender and servers are attentive, professional and fun. Aside from great cocktails and wine, the food was truly exceptional. The menu included everything from various small plates to complete entrées. The bison sliders and lump crab sliders were quite remarkable.

A casual and sophisticated atmosphere with amazingly knowledgeable, genuine and gifted staff. Stopping in for drinks will inevitably lead to enjoying a meal where you find yourself ending the night aching from laughter and singing along with the pianist. The ideal location to thaw out on a chilly winter night or enjoy one of the last Sunday Suppers DC has to offer.
