This small cafe and repair shop is conveniently located at the top of Phinney Ridge for residents of North Seattle, in particular, the neighborhoods of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Green Lake, Ballard, Wallingford, and Fremont. Will, owner and former Starbucks employee, is extremely personable and friendly. No matter how busy he is, he always finds a few minutes to talk to me whenever I come in. Not only do I purchase coffee beans regularly here, but Will has also repaired my home espresso machine on numerous occasions. I purchase coffee beans here every few weeks. Will always grinds the beans--purchased from a locally owned coffee roaster--for my French press. He also recommended the best way to store the beans and to use my French press most effectively. His beans are the best I have found anywhere. Wil also serves coffee and espresso drinks in his small cafe which has very limited seating. If you need your espresso machine repaired, this is definitely the place to go. The service is fast, reliable, and relatively inexpensive; furthermore, Will knows his stuff! (Note: He will not repair most low-end, inexpensive espresso machines; unfortunately, these machines cannot be repaired and thus end up in landfills.)
