This is the super-mega buffet of all buffets. They should just bill it "the largest buffet in the world." It literally extends from the entire length of the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and skip the Sizzler this year. If you go to only one restaurant, be prepared to fork out some cash (no pun intended) but not more than, say, really expensive Korean BBQ in San Diego (for some reason, Korean BBQ is cheaper in LA). This place is totally worth it. The only thing that's missing is a lounge, because I could enjoy eating their food all day long! I wish it wasn't a one-time shot and you could take food home. Alas, too bad you can't take the buffet home!
We live in Canada and we visit Southern California each year. We have enjoyed Todai in the past. Now that it is Minatto we visited there twice on our last trip. At $11.99 for weekday lunch it is great value and the choices are excellent. Weekend brunch is $13.99, weekday dinner is $19.99 and weekend dinner is $21.99 but we only had the weekday lunch. There were lots of tempura shrimp on both occasions and the sushi was great. The hand rolls are back too and we will be back again next year. Also the restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms, and the place was packed for lunch on the last Friday we were there.
