Decided to try it after a movie next door at Landmark. Walking by it was open, 9:15 and very few people inside. Wadatsumi looks like a sushi place but it seems that the place also does lots of beef and might be better known for their beef. Sat at the sushi counter but had to order from a food server and not our sushi chef. Anyways, decent sushi, pleasant staff---but had to flag down someone twice to get our check. (remember the place is empty). Average sushi, poor service
New sushi restaurant right by the Westside Pavilion. Not a very large selection on the menu. Needs to have more to choose from to eat. Alcohol and beer is a big draw here. So if you are really hungry, think again about coming here. There are lots of waiters so there is a whole lot of activity. But the service is not that great. No big selection of specials . It is new so it might need some time to get settled and figure things out. What we did order was good, but the portions were small. Will probably try again in Few months if they are still around.
I go here when I crave perfectly cooked shiny rice as I am a rice eater. I was brought to this place by a Japanese friend who also loved their rice. I have only been here for lunch time. Their lunch menu is reasonable and service is good.
