So this restaurant was just across the street from The Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel which we were staying at. My friend from Atlanta said that it was one of his favourite places, so with a recommendation in hand & the ease that it was just across the road I went with a pure starving belly!!! We both shared the Ahi Tuna to start with. Dear god, it just melted in your mouth. I could have easily had another. If you are a fan of tuna steaks you will not be disappointed! As it was a steak house we ordered 8oz steak, mashed potatoes & baby asparagus. Yes! Yes! Yes! The mashed potato was clearly creamed with butter and cream. At this point I didn't care that I would be a couple of pounds heavier after it - again, cause it was amazing. The only thing that I would say they failed on was how they did the steak. I asked for rare-medium. What came out was Medium on a searing hot plate, which of course meant it was cooking it more. No blood in sight, I did bring it up with the waitress but couldn't be bothered waiting for them to get it right so I just asked them for a cold plate so it wouldn't bloody cook the meat anymore! For dessert, we ordered the bread and butter pudding. I didn't really feel like dessert at this point as the steak nearly broke me, but sharing something sounded somewhat feasible (i'm a girl plus I have a huge pre-diabetic sweet tooth). It was absolutely lovely but honestly I defy anyone to order this alone unless they are the Hulk. Too big, but that's why they invented doggy bags eh!? Staff we got were really lovely, the young girl we had was witty, lovely and very helpful. Overall a must I think and was glad I went : )
