I was walking down the street and saw this restaurant, which looked charming and inviting and decided to eat there with my date. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty the server seated us right next to the door and then propped the door open so he could bus tables outside. When I asked him to close the door he gave me a funny look and said "Just wait a minute" and went on with his business and left the door open. It was a very cold night, and he proceeded to move slowly and leave the door open for 10 minutes. We had been sitting for 15 minutes now and still hadn't received menus. He then went back to the kitchen, came out. Looked at us and picked up 2 menus as if the were going to bring them over and then placed the menus down and then went to clean another table! I had to get up myself and get the menus for me and my companion. I called someone else (a woman) working there over so we could order and then when the guy came over to drop off the food my date politely asked him a question about the food and he just looked at her like she didn't deserve his time and ignored her. I had to ask the question again to get an answer.. pretty unbelievable. I had the lamb vindaloo and my date had the vegetable curry and the food was mediocre at best.. I've had better Indian at ratty little strip mall places. Rude service aside, I would definitely say this is the worst Indian food I've ever had in LA. Don't waste your time in an area with such great restaurants.
