This restaurant is not located along the main road of Jalan Ipoh.. The landmark is a church called St James Church and next to the church is the police station. The dining hall is very impressive and presentable. A very good place for wedding dinner reception. They have menu with pictures. So, this makes it easy to order what you want. Food is well done but a bit pricey.

This restaurant is a good place for gathering, reunion or even weddings with ample free private parking. If you have booked a room for privacy, you can have a wonderful time enjoy the karaoke. The service is good though some of the waitresses are not young. Some of the food can be graded as fantastic. I personally love the crispy roasted chicken, v fresh steam fish, fried prawns served with seaweed...we have CNY 'lao sheng' with abalone - v tender n fresh! The serving for each dish may look moderate but sufficient for a table for ten people.

The Crystal Palm is yet another restaurant that adds to Malaysia’s reputation as a foodie’s paradise. The fare is Chinese, but with a difference. The restaurant is ideal for weddings and other big gatherings with their large circular tables. The lazy Susans in the center are a must. The food is excellent and the servings are very generous. The waiters and waitresses are discreet but very attentive and are a storehouse of information. What I liked was that they advised us when they thought that we were ordering too much. We pretty much told them what we wanted to eat and left the quantities up to them. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth every ringgit.
