This has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants if you are looking for reasonably priced well cooked tasty Chinese food. we always come here when we visit our daughter in Liverpool.however if you are wanting more of a relaxed, intimate dining experience it may not be for you.It is always busy with a constant flurry of diners coming and waiting for tables,chinese come here in droves which is always a good sign.The service was good from all the members of this Chinese family .They remained patient and smiling throughout considering it was a hectic Saturday night.we had the set meal which was delicious,and there was a nice space between courses.as another reviewer said if they updated the 80s decor they would climb higher up the ratings but then they would be sorely missed if they had to close for refurbishment .

The North Garden is in Liverpool's historic Chinatown. Medium sized with some large round tables in traditional style. We ordered a banquet for under £20 pounds each. It was brilliant. Lovely food and plenty of it. Friendly staff and perfect for a late meal. We'll done! Will definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

Myself and my partner have been coming to the north garden for years and wouldn't go anywhere else we cannot fault the place the food is amazing and we are always greeted with a warm welcome from Marie, Henry and the team. Anybody who hasn't already tried must do so weekends can be quite busy so best to ring ahead to book a table also it is cash only but there is a cash machine 2 seconds up the road.

I called for some takeaway food for some colleagues that I was staying in Liverpool with. The staff are friendly, polite and very good at what they do and they will gladly accommodate any special requests. They were very busy for a Wednesday and I noticed several Asian people eating there (which must be a good sign! ). The food was very tasty and also plentiful. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be back!
