Always fancied a visit to this area. Found it to be surprisingly quiet. Walked into this restaurant to be eagerly greeted at the door by a waitress and shown to our table. Not the most friendly staff. Couldn't wait to get your order sorted. Had a banquet. First courses came out ok. They were hovering all the time waiting to take plates away. The rest came in quick order. Food was nice but small portions. As soon as we had finished the bill was there. Not a pleasant experience. Won't be going again I'm afraid which is a shame because it could be a good restaurant.
Just had a meal here and can honestly say the best thing about it was the fortune cookie at the end miserable staff warm watery coffee cheap Sui mai gloopy fried rice our plates were whipped away before we could put our fork down would not recommend this place to anyone wish I would had read reviews first then I Wouldn't have bothered going at all this is the first time I have never left a tip that's how bad we thought it was
I would have rated it 5 if I had elicited a smile from the staff. Food is well made and extremely tasty. Last week was my third visit and the food is consistently of a very high standard. I would say the best in Chinatown, which is actually not hard. I had hot & sour soup, crispy lamb, and duck stuffed with prawn. Perfect. Prices are pretty mid range. Bottle of Pink £17.
Not really busy on a Saturday night , staff showed us to our table and were friendly I cannot really complain about the food which was lovely, I had the soup which was tasty and the main meal was well presented and my wife enjoyed her meal, it wouldn't take much to make this place more appealing
