Dry roast beef sandwiches. The homemade crusty bread seemed stale. Sandwiche lacked flavor. Quiche was not cheesy at all. Side salad was too much vinegar! Strawberry tart lacked flavor. Lunch for 3 (which was largely thrown out) was $47. You order at a counter and food is made for you. Would not return.
La Provence has the best croissants in Miami (granted, not a hotly contested category), and wonderful brioche. They offer a large selection of tarts and other very sweet pastries that form a crossover to standard Latin fare, but I like the breads as well. The breads are neither as dense nor as compelling as, say, Zak the Baker a few blocks away, but the selection of pastries is much greater than at Zak's. Good espresso and cappuccino as well.
